Harkham Wines is seeking a passionate, experienced and skilled restaurant supervisor to

help oversee the expansion and development of our on site restaurant in Polkolbin.

This is a full time role working along with our Head Chef, Owner and Bar Supervisor.

We are looking for someone to help shape and rework our order of service, with a focus on

each step of the FOH service. From seating our guests, explaining our range of options,

communicating with the kitchen and delivering quality food and service every time with grace

and a friendly smile.

We are a small team in a venue that can get very busy, so we need you to be a robust and

clear communicator between team members while staying cool under pressure. You need to

have a strong work ethic and be able to focus on many tasks at the same time, while

maintaining a presentable and friendly demeanour.

You will be responsible for the day to day running of the restaurant floor in conjunction with

our head chef and bar supervisor. Taking your lead from the owner and management, you

will be responsible for the continued training and maintaining of standard amongst those





staff on the floor and running food who will report directly to you.

During large events and busy rushes, you will be the direct line of communication between

FOH staff and the kitchen, so any experience of running a pass will be a bonus.

You will work a four day week Thursday - Sunday, over four lunch and three dinner services,

plus additional hours for any and all admin work. You will also be required to attend a weekly

catch up chat with management over the phone.

In return we can offer you a generous salary plus super as well as excellent tips averaging $150 a week on top. There is room for growth and development and the right training for those wishing to expand into management.

This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their hospital career and become a major part of a local and popular venue in the Hunter Valley. Wine knowledge is not required as we can teach you, but you will be trying and enjoying a lot of Natural Hunter Valley Juice.
