We're looking for an experienced Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist to join our friendly, down-to-earth team in a permanent part time role (minimum 30 hours per week).

About the Clinic

Our clinic is led by a long-standing Practice Manager who has been part of the team for over 20 years, helping create the supportive, welcoming culture we're known for today. Stability, teamwork, and exceptional client care are at the centre of everything we do.

You’ll be joining a busy and well-established clinic currently home to:

- 4 full-time Veterinarians, with a fifth full-time Vet joining the team in November
- A fantastic nursing team of up to 9 nurses
- A supportive leadership team
- Loyal clients who value the care and service we provide

As the clinic continues to grow, we're excited to welcome another Receptionist to help support our team and continue delivering the exceptional client experience we're known for.

About the Role

As our Veterinary Receptionist, you'll play a vital role in supporting both our clients and clinical team.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Welcoming clients and patients into the clinic
- Managing appointment bookings and scheduling
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Responding to client emails and enquiries
- Taking payments and processing accounts
- Banking and administrative duties
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Assisting with patient triage (full training provided)
- Providing general advice regarding vaccination schedules, nutrition, and parasite prevention
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic
- Delivering exceptional customer service during both happy and challenging moments

Availability Requirements

This is a permanent part-time position with a minimum of 30 hours per week.

To support the needs of the clinic, the successful candidate must be available to work the following rostered shifts:

- Monday: 8:00am - 6:00pm
- Tuesday: 8:00am - 6:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am - 6:00pm

These days and hours are non-negotiable, so we're specifically looking for someone who can commit to working this schedule on an ongoing basis.
