About the Opportunity

As a Test and Assurance Manager, you will support a major Federal Government client in the planning, coordination and delivery of Test and Evaluation (T&E;) activities within a complex Defence ICT integration environment.

Working across Land Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) systems, you will provide specialist expertise in experimentation, operational testing, acceptance testing and cyber-T&E; to support the successful integration and assurance of critical capabilities.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to important national programs while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, project stakeholders and ICT service providers to resolve complex integration challenges and support informed technical and engineering decisions.

- Plan, coordinate, conduct and report on Test and Evaluation (T&E;) activities supporting Land C4I systems integration.
- Develop and support T&E; approaches for experimentation, operational testing, acceptance testing and cyber T&E; activities.
- Coordinate testing activities across complex ICT systems and integrated technical environments.
- Assess testing outcomes, identify integration issues and provide recommendations to support engineering decisions.
- Engage with project teams, engineering specialists and ICT providers to investigate and resolve technical integration challenges.
- Support the identification, analysis and management of risks associated with systems integration and testing activities.
- Prepare technical reports, test documentation and recommendations to communicate T&E; findings and outcomes.




- Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders to ensure testing activities align with project objectives and operational requirements.
- Provide specialist T&E; advice to support system assurance, technical assessments and capability development.
- Maintain effective working relationships with government stakeholders, technical teams, contractors and external service providers.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

- Demonstrated experience planning, managing and delivering Test and Evaluation activities within complex ICT or systems integration environments.
- Strong understanding of T&E; methodologies, processes and practices, including test planning, execution, analysis and reporting.
- Experience supporting systems integration, verification, validation and assurance activities.
- Demonstrated knowledge or experience in Land C4i systems or comparable complex Defence ICT environments.
- Experience coordinating experimentation, operational testing, acceptance testing or cyber T&E; activities.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, investigate and resolve complex systems integration issues.
- Ability to analyse testing outcomes and provide transparent, evidence-based recommendations to support engineering decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with government stakeholders, project teams, technical specialists and ICT providers.
- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to prepare technical documentation, test reports and stakeholder briefings.
- Excellent organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and testing activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams in a complex and security-sensitive environment.

Experience delivering T&E; activities within Defence, particularly involving Land C4I systems, Defence systems integration, or engagement with ADF, APS and Defence contractors, will be highly regarded.
