We are seeking an experienced Manager, Cost Management to lead cost planning, cost control and governance across School Infrastructure's design and construction project lifecycle.

In this role, you will provide strategic cost management advice to senior executives, project teams and key stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered with strong financial oversight, effective risk management and value for money.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of cost management frameworks, strategies and governance processes.
- Prepare and review pre-tender estimates, cost plans, variations and progress claims to support effective project cost control.
- Conduct cost benchmarking, data analytics and risk assessments to identify cost trends and improve project performance.
- Lead and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors, providing expert advice and support to project teams and senior stakeholders.
- Prepare management reports,



undertake peer reviews of cost plans and ensure compliance with relevant standards, legislative requirements and performance targets.

Key Skills and Experience

- Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in cost management, cost planning and cost control within construction or infrastructure projects.
- Robust knowledge of cost estimation, variation assessments, progress claims and cost risk management.
- Proven analytical skills, including benchmarking, data analysis and preparation of management reports.
- Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-making and drive cost-effective outcomes..
