THE ROLE

- Monitor day-to-day performance of all aspects of the gold processing plant.
- Conduct metallurgical accounting and reconciliation for gold production.
- Ensure production and cost targets achieved and adjust key operating parameters.
- Provide technical support to operations staff.
- Train and mentor operations staff.
- Monitor and optimise performance of the MSA and provide feedback to stakeholders.
- Oversea on-site laboratory operations
- Carry out designated metallurgical test work and metallurgical duties in a professional manner.
- Assist in the preparation and ongoing management of department budgets and forecasts.
- Establish and execute short term and long-term projects aimed at improving process plant efficiency.
- Monitoring the availability and usage of critical process reagents and consumables

WHAT DO I NEED

- Current “C” Class Manual Western Australian driver’s licence
- Tertiary Qualification in Metallurgy or related discipline
- Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience in mineral processing




- Sound working knowledge of processing plant equipment and processes - crushing, milling, gravity, leaching, tailings and reagent circuits
- Experienced in monitoring and optimising plant metallurgical performance, including responsibility for daily metallurgical accounting
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel)
- Experience with online analysis systems (desirable)
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment
- Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable
