Location: Ballina, Lismore, Byron Bay, Tweed Heads or surrounding Northern Rivers areas, NSW

Winning Consulting is looking for a locally based Stakeholder Engagement & Project Support Associate to support an upcoming local government consulting panel prospect in the Northern Rivers region.

We are particularly interested in professionals with strong local connections, experience engaging with community stakeholders and the ability to support public sector projects on the ground.

Key Requirements:

- Background in stakeholder engagement, community consultation, community development or project coordination.
- Experience working with local councils, government agencies or public sector initiatives is highly regarded.




- Strong understanding of the Northern Rivers region and its communities.
- Ability to attend on-site meetings in or around Ballina at short notice.
- Excellent communication, coordination and relationship management skills.
- Existing relationships with local Aboriginal organisations, community groups or regional networks are an advantage.
- Independent consultant / subcontractor arrangement (ABN required).
- Potential assignments over a 30-month consulting panel term.
- Flexible, project-based engagement, subject to council demand; no guaranteed workload.
- Expected panel decision: January 2027.
