Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced and motivated Distribution Powerline Workers to join our team based in Vineyard, NSW. Working across Western Sydney, you will play a key role in the construction, maintenance and upgrading of overhead and underground distribution assets that keep communities connected and powered.

About the Role

Working as part of a skilled field crew, you will be involved in a variety of distribution network projects, including pole and line construction, asset maintenance and defect rectification.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform pole replacements, crossarm changes, conductor stringing and transformer/switchgear installation.
- Operate plant, equipment and specialised linework tools safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret network plans, drawings and work instructions.
- Complete job documentation and safety records accurately.
- Maintain compliance with all safety,



environmental and quality requirements.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, crew members, network operators and customers.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Certificate III in ESI Distribution Overhead (or equivalent).
- Current industry authorisations and competencies relevant to distribution linework.
- Current driver's licence (HR licence highly regarded).
- Experience working on electricity distribution networks.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and risk management.
- Ability to work effectively within a team workplace.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to participate in after-hours and emergency response work when required.

Desirable Qualifications

- EWP, Dogging, Rigging or Crane tickets.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Construction White Card.
- Experience working within Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy or Essential Energy networks.
