What you'll bring

- The ability to turn requirements and designs into responsive, user friendly web applications.
- Experience building reusable components, integrating APIs and managing application state.
- Practical experience using AI coding assistants such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code or similar tools to write, test, debug or improve code.
- The technical judgement to review AI-generated code, identify issues and ensure the final solution is secure, accessible and maintainable.
- A good understanding of automated testing, Git and modern development workflows.
- A cooperative approach to working with designers, developers, business analysts and other stakeholders.

Essential Skills and Experience

- Demonstrated hands-on experience developing applications using React and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of component-based architecture, state management, API integration and responsive design.
- Experience implementing accessible web applications and applying WCAG standards.
- Experience with Git, automated testing, code reviews and CI/CD pipelines.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code or similar tools to support software engineering activities.
- Ability to critically review AI-generated code and take ownership of technical quality and outcomes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
