With a strong focus on quality, product knowledge and service, this is a great opportunity to join a close-knit team where you can build genuine customer relationships and take ownership of the sales journey. Your new role /n Based in Joondalup, you’ll join the team as a Sales Assistant, delivering an exceptional in-store experience while helping customers find the right products for their needs. /n This is much more than a traditional retail position. You’ll combine hands-on customer service with consultative sales, product demonstrations and coordination of customer orders. /n Your responsibilities will include: /n /n
- Engaging with customers and providing tailored product recommendations /n
- Conducting product and cooking demonstrations /n
- Supporting customers with outdoor and alfresco kitchen selections /n
- Managing the sales process, including quotes, orders, supplier coordination and customer follow-up /n
- Maintaining product displays and supporting visual merchandising /n
- Processing transactions and assisting with stock deliveries /n
- Working closely with the wider team to achieve sales goals /n
- Completing some manual handling and heavy lifting when required, although this will not be an extensive part of the role /n
- Working weekends as part of the regular roster, with two days off during the week /n

What you'll need




to succeed /n /nPrevious sales experience is essential and non-negotiable for this position. We’re looking for someone confident in engaging with customers, identifying their needs and converting conversations into sales.
You’ll also bring:/n /n
- Robust customer service and communication skills /n
- A proactive, confident and consultative approach to sales /n
- The ability to build rapport and recommend appropriate products /n
- Confidence learning and demonstrating products to customers /n
- Good technology skills, with exposure to systems such as Salesforce, Retail Express and Microsoft Office are advantageous. /n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team /n
- Willingness to work weekends as part of your regular roster /n
- The ability to undertake some manual handling and lifting when required /n
