Engineering Trades Australia is conducting a shutdown staffing event at Rio Tinto's Amrun Bauxite Processing Plant, Weipa, QLD. Short-term roles from 31 October to 6 November 2026 include Boilermakers, Fitters, Open Crane Operators, and Riggers. Flights, accommodation and meals provided; HRWL, White Card, and medicals are mandatory. Applicants must have current trade qualifications, valid licences (HR for crane operators), and the ability to complete site onboarding.
