About Us

We are currently seeking a Japanese Speaking Finance Analyst to join the Australian operation of a well-established Japanese organization.Working closely with senior management in Australia and Japan, you will analyse business performance, prepare management reports, and contribute to future investment and acquisition initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys financial analysis while also wanting broader exposure to M&A;, business strategy and corporate development.

Responsibilities

- Prepareregular financial and business performance reports for the head office inJapan
- Analysefinancial results, budgets, forecasts, KPIs and business performance
- Preparereports, presentations and financial analysis for senior management




- Workclosely with management and portfolio companies to gather and analysefinancial and operational information
- Conductmarket, industry and competitor research
- Researchand identify potential M&A; and investment opportunities in Australia
- Assistwith financial modelling and other analysis related to potentialinvestments and acquisitions
- Supportbroader strategic, financial and business projects as required
- Liaisewith stakeholders in both Australia and Japan

Your Profile

- Previousexperience in financial analysis, management reporting, corporateplanning, M&A;, corporate development, accounting, consulting, or asimilar role
- Experiencepreparing financial or management reports will be highly regarded
- Goodunderstanding of financial statements, budgets and business performance
- StrongExcel and Microsoft Office skills
- Strongresearch and problem-solving skills
- Abilityto work independently in a growing business setting
- Strongattention to detail and commercial awareness
- Excellentcommunication and stakeholder management skills
- FluentJapanese and English language skills, both written and spoken
