We’re looking for an intermediate Production Estimator, ideally with 1–3 years’ production estimating experience in residential construction. Experience across both sales and production estimating, particularly in a volume building environment, would be highly regarded.

You’ll bring attention to detail, a practical understanding of residential construction and the ability to keep multiple jobs moving as priorities change.

About the role

Working closely with our team, suppliers and site staff, you will help ensure our projects are accurately costed, ordered and ready for construction.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing accurate quantity take-offs, bills of quantities and material calculations.

Completing production estimates and supporting sales pricing where required.

Preparing and managing material orders to suit construction schedules.

Maintaining estimating systems, supplier information and pricing.

Liaising with suppliers and resolving queries.

Working with site staff to clarify construction details and material requirements.

Identifying discrepancies early to support cost control and efficient project delivery.

About you

You’re organised,



thorough and comfortable managing several projects at different stages. You can move between tasks, respond to changing priorities and keep track of the details.

Ideally, you will have:

Around 1–3 years’ experience in residential production estimating.

Experience in volume building, with exposure to sales estimating an advantage.

Working knowledge of Databuild, or strong experience with comparable estimating software.

A sound understanding of residential construction methods, materials and lightweight cladding systems.

Strong numerical skills and a consistent approach to checking your work.

Explicit communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and site teams.

A collaborative approach and a willingness to contribute within a small team.
