Position details: EDUCATION ASSISTANT (KINDERGARTEN): Mon – Wed Position details: Our Lady's Assumption School is seeking applications for a suitably qualified Education Assistant to join our school community. Our Lady's Assumption School is a co-educational, double stream school with classes from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. The position involves working in a Kindergarten class, supporting the classroom teacher with in the delivery of the educational programs.

Working hours
will be from 8.15am till 3.15pm from Monday to Wednesday. The successful applicant will possess excellent collaborative skills, being able to work closely with teachers, students and the wider community, to develop exciting and cutting-edge learning experiences for students. • A commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education and a willingness to promote and support Catholic values of our school and Parish Community.




• Have a minimum Certificate IV in Early Childhood Education Support, Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care or similar approved relevant qualifications.
• Have the ability and/or experience in working with students with additional needs and/or specific learning difficulties. Desirable
• Have previous experience in working as an Education Assistant within a school.
• Experience working with both literacy and numeracy based intervention programs. Have a proven ability to work in a collaborative environment as a member of a team.
• Be able to contribute with the development of community amongst staff, students and parents.
• Have demonstrated the capacity to relate easily and professionally with students, parents and staff. The successful applicant will be required to;
• Have a current Working with Children Check (WWC).
• Have a current Crimtrac Police Clearance.
• Undergo Mandatory Reporting Training.
• Acquire and/or maintain relevant Accreditation requirements to work in a Catholic School. Qualifications Required: (if applicable) As above
