Bayliss Engineering Group is continuing to grow, and we're looking for a qualified, experienced and ambitious Electrical Project Manager to join our expanding team. With a solid pipeline of secured projects and continued growth across our electrical and mechanical divisions, we're seeking an individual who combines technical expertise, commercial awareness and strong leadership with the ambition to be part of something bigger. THE OPPORTUNITY You'll be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of electrical projects, ranging from minor works and commercial fit-outs through to multi-million-dollar construction developments, including:
• Large-scale industrial warehouses and logistics facilities
• Government and education infrastructure
• High-rise residential and commercial developments
• Design & Construct (D&C;) projects
• Commercial refurbishments and minor works You'll take ownership of projects from contract award and initial planning through to procurement, construction, commissioning and final handover. This includes managing project budgets, forecasting, construction programmes, procurement, subcontractors, site teams and client relationships while ensuring successful outcomes across safety, quality, profitability and programme. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FORWe're seeking an individual who demonstrates:
• Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical project management within the commercial construction industry.
• 5+ years' experience highly regarded, particularly delivering multi-million-dollar electrical construction projects.
• Proven ability to independently manage projects from contract award through to practical completion.




• Strong commercial acumen, including project budgeting, cost forecasting, procurement, variations and financial reporting.
• Excellent technical knowledge of commercial electrical installations and relevant Australian Standards.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate and develop project teams.
• Excellent communication, organisational and client relationship management skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to make decisions and take responsibility for project outcomes.
• A genuine desire to contribute to the growth, development and long-term success of the business. Electrical trade qualification is a requirement and eligibility to act as a WA Electrical Nominee are highly desirable. Suitable candidates who are formally appointed to undertake nominee responsibilities will be eligible for an additional annual bonus.
