With a strong pipeline of work and a modern fleet of equipment, we are seeking an experienced Float Driver to join our Geelong-based team.

About the Role

As a Float Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of earthmoving plant and equipment across metropolitan Melbourne, regional Victoria and interstate where required.

Working closely with our Operations and Maintenance teams, you will play a key role in ensuring equipment is delivered safely, on time and in compliance with all transport and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Loading, securing and transporting civil and earthmoving equipment.
- Mobilisation and demobilisation of plant and equipment to and from project sites.
- Managing load restraint and permit requirements for oversize and heavy equipment movements.
- Liaising with Operations and Maintenance teams regarding equipment movements and scheduling.




- Accurately completing and submitting all paperwork in a timely manner.
- Maintaining a high standard of safety, professionalism and equipment care.

- Current MC Driver's Licence.
- Construction Industry White Card.
- Minimum 5 years' experience transporting heavy plant and equipment.
- Robust knowledge of the Melbourne metropolitan road network and major transport routes throughout Victoria.
- Demonstrated experience with load restraint, oversize loads, permits and transport compliance requirements.
- Completion of all transport documentation, checklists and paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
