A well-established, privately owned group is looking for an Accountant to join its finance team. The business operates across a diverse portfolio of entities, with a collaborative culture and a strong focus on delivering outstanding outcomes. Responsibilities:

- Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting across a portfolio of group entities
- Manage the general ledger, reconciliations and month-end close for each entity
- Prepare financial statements and support the annual audit process
- Assist the CFO with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting
- Support BAS, GST and tax compliance, and liaise with external accountants and auditors
- Contribute to ad hoc projects and improvements to finance processes and controls

Experience:





- Degree qualified in accounting or finance, with CA or CPA status (or progressing towards it)
- Proven experience in funds management, investment accounting or multi-entity accounting
- Experience across multiple entities, with the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Strong Excel skills and exposure to AI / streamlining process
- Understanding of GST, BAS and tax compliance. (Not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude and the confidence to work closely with senior stakeholders
- Clear written and verbal communication
