The opportunity

A fantastic prospect is now available for an experienced Carpenter to join our team.

You will bring ahigh level of professionalism, maturity and customer service to lead our team on current and future projects.

This position is ideally suited to someone with strong carpentry and leading hand experience and will have a wide and varied remit that is well suited to an enthusiastic, reliable, honest and highly customer focused based individual to manage various projects and contractors.

Requirements

- Relevant carpentry trade
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience working on residential and commercial sites




- Certificate IV Building (desirable, but not required)
- Excellent time management, organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strongcommunications skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multi-task with a proactive mindset
- Current valid driverslicense& ability to travel as required
- HR License (desirable, but not required)
- Blue Card required as an extensive amount of our work is within schools

Duties

- Everyday general carpentry duties, Framing, Fixout, Flooring etc
- Management of other subcontractors
- Scheduling & planning
- Manage resource hours on site
- Monitor and report onprogress
- Work closely with contractors for order delivery and work to be undertaken
- Ensure safe work policy and procedure adherence
- Communicate with Client, PM Construction Manager, Suppliers etc. as Required
