Prospero Teaching is partnering with a well-regarded special development school in Sydney, currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Special Education Teacher to join their growing team.

About the Role:

As a Special Education Teacher, you will:

- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse learning needs.

- Deliver targeted one-on-one and small group instruction to support individual education goals.

- Support classroom activities and implement effective behaviour management strategies.

- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to develop and implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs).

- Track and report student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet learning objectives.

Qualifications and requirements:

- Current NESA accreditation.

- Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).





- Proven experience in special education, with a sound understanding of various learning and behavioural needs.

- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

- Demonstrated ability to develop and apply effective classroom and behaviour management strategies.
