Experienced Carpenter - General Carpentry & Projects

Gold Coast Region | Full-Time | $50 circa - Salary Negotiated Based on Experience | Includes Fuel Card

Lanbuild is looking for an experienced, trade-qualified Carpenter to join our growing team on the Gold Coast.

We offer a variety of work across commercial and residential properties, including general carpentry, repairs, renovations, fit-outs and larger building projects.

This role suits a carpenter who takes pride in quality workmanship, uses their initiative and enjoys working across different sites and projects.

About the Role

Working under the direction of our Site Supervisors, you'll be responsible for completing carpentry and general building tasks efficiently, with the ability to manage your workload and solve problems on site.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out general carpentry works and building repairs across multiple sites.
- Undertaking renovations, refurbishments, fit-outs and general building projects.
- Identifying issues and finding practical solutions.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, attention to detail and finishes.
- Communicating professionally with clients, site personnel and team members.
- Assisting with site preparation, materials and general building tasks as required.
- Following workplace health and safety requirements and company procedures.

What a Week May Look Like

No two weeks are necessarily the same. You could be attending three different sites in one day to complete various carpentry jobs, spending the next few days working with a team on a larger project, and then returning to work independently on your own jobs.





You'll need to be comfortable moving between sites, tasks and working arrangements, sometimes working alongside others and sometimes managing your own workload.

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys this variety and is comfortable with the flexibility it requires.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Certificate III in Carpentry or an equivalent trade qualification.
- A minimum of four years' post-apprenticeship carpentry experience.
- Solid experience in general carpentry and building works.
- The ability to manage your workload and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with clients.
- A current driver's licence and reliable transport.
- Your own standard carpentry tools suitable for general carpentry works.
- Required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- A sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Additional experience in plastering, tiling, caulking, paving, concreting or other general building trades will be highly regarded.

Please note: This position is for an experienced, qualified carpenter. Apprenticeships are not available.
