Role Description The Electrician will perform day-to-day electrical installation tasks on commercial construction sites and office fit outs in Melbourne, VIC. Responsibilities include wiring and fitting electrical systems, reading and interpreting plans and diagrams, installing fixtures and switchboards, and conducting testing to ensure compliance with safety standards. The role also involves troubleshooting electrical issues, collaborating with other trades to deliver projects on time. This is a full-time,



on-site role that requires consistent attendance at project locations and adherence to all workplace health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong practical skills in electricity and electrical work, including safe handling of electrical systems.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of electrical engineering principles relevant to construction and building services.
- Current electrician license or trade certification, with demonstrated experience in commercial and/or residential construction.
- Solid understanding of Australian electrical standards, building codes, and occupational health and safety requirements.
- Ability to read technical drawings, use appropriate tools and test equipment, and work effectively in a team on active job sites.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and reliability in meeting deadlines and project quality expectations.
- Valid driver’s licence and capacity to travel between sites in Melbourne and surrounding areas as required.
