About the Role

An opportunity is available for an experienced Project Officer to support the delivery of a major electric vehicle infrastructure grants program. The role will assist with grant assessments, contract administration, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination, contributing to the expansion of EV charging infrastructure across NSW.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and support grant applications, assessments, contracting and administration.
- Assist with the delivery of an EV kerbside charging grants program.
- Support project planning, tracking, reporting, governance and delivery activities.
- Engage with stakeholders across local councils, government agencies, EV charging providers and the energy sector.
- Support initiatives aligned with the NSW Electric Vehicle Strategy.
- Help drive the timely delivery of EV charging infrastructure projects.
- Manage competing priorities while maintaining quality, governance and delivery timeframes.

Essential Skills & Experience

- Robust understanding of government grants, governance and funding administration.
- Experience in project coordination, project management and/or grants administration.




- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgement while maintaining accountability and transparency.
- Experience working with government agencies, councils, sustainability programs, EV charging or the energy sector.
- Understanding of areas such as sustainability, transport, energy, climate change, resilience or net-zero initiatives.
- Experience using grant management platforms such as SmartyGrants would be highly regarded.

Ideal Candidate

You will be a well-organised Project Officer with hands-on experience supporting government-funded programs or grant administration. Exposure to EV infrastructure, energy, sustainability, transport or net-zero programs will be particularly valuable.
