About The Role

An Associate Lawyer role in a small, busy Brisbane law firm. You'll run your own files with support and work directly with the Principal, gaining real client contact and responsibility from day one.

Key Responsibilities

- Run commercial and property matters, including contracts, leases, business sales and conveyancing
- Run disputes and debt recovery matters, from letters of demand through to Magistrates and District Court and QCAT
- Act in family law matters, including property settlements, parenting arrangements and financial agreements
- Advise employers and employees on contracts, terminations, workplace disputes and Fair Work matters
- Advise clubs, athletes and sporting bodies on contracts, governance, integrity and disciplinary matters

About You

- Admitted in Queensland and holding a practising certificate
- 2-5 years' PQE in one or more of commercial, litigation, family or employment law
- An interest in sports law (experience a plus)




- Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
- Commercial judgment and a practical, client-focused approach
- Able to manage your own workload in a small-firm environment
