Forklift Driver | Warehouse All-Rounder

Smithfield, NSW 2164 | $35–$38 per hour + super | Monday–Friday

We’re seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Driver / Warehouse All-Rounder to join a busy wholesale flooring distribution operation in Smithfield.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced operator who enjoys a diverse role, takes pride in working safely, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.

This is not just a forklift job! You’ll spend approximately 60% of your time operating a counterbalance forklift and 40% assisting with general warehouse duties, so a practical, can-do attitude is essential.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Operating a counterbalance forklift to move and position stock safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks.
- Moving flooring products to designated storage and dispatch areas.
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch.
- Assisting with stocktakes and general inventory control.
- Handling goods manually, including lifting items weighing up to 25 kg.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
- Supporting the wider warehouse team to keep daily operations running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

- A valid Australian forklift licence (LF).
- Demonstrated experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience.
- The physical fitness required for regular manual handling and lifting up to 25 kg.




- A strong commitment to workplace safety and following procedures.
- Reliability, punctuality and a positive, hands-on attitude.

-The ability to work independently while contributing to a team.

- Your own required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Full working rights in Australia as an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident.
- Availability to start immediately is highly desirable.

- Daytime hours: 9:00 am – 3:30 pm.

-An initial 6-month temporary assignment, with the potential to transition to a permanent position.
