South Bunbury Community Aged Care is seeking a passionate Weekend Chef to join the founding team of our brand-new 180-bed aged care home opening in November 2026.

This is a rare opportunity to help shape the dining experience from day one, working in a modern, purpose-built commercial kitchen as part of our initial commissioning team.

Permanent Part-Time

Saturdays & Sundays, 9:00am - 5:00pm
No late nights or split shifts

About the Role





You will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality meals that enhance the health, wellbeing and enjoyment of our residents, while maintaining exceptional food safety and service standards.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will help create positive dining experiences and support residents with a range of nutritional and dietary requirements.

To Be Successful, You Will Have:

- Trade-qualified Chef
- Current Food Safety Supervisor qualification (Essential)
- Experience in commercial, hospitality or aged care kitchens
- Knowledge of modified and special dietary requirements
- Strong food safety and compliance practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Positive, team-focused attitude
- Police check for successful applicants
