An exciting opportunity is available to join a large, established organisation within their Market Operations team. You’ll be part of a supportive, multi-state team in a customer-focused environment, with structured training and ongoing coaching provided.
Your new role
As a Market Operations Associate, you’ll work within a middle-office function, with the position focused approximately 80% on processing and 20% on phone-based customer support.Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing transactions and credit accounts
- Managing customer requests through email and the client portal
- Providing high-quality customer service and stakeholder support
- Handling a small volume of inbound calls, generally no more than 10
- Making approximately 20 outbound calls per day to progress or finalise existing requests
- Liaising with internal stakeholders
- Completing accurate and timely processing in a fast-paced environment
- Supporting customers with existing enquiries and requests, with no cold calling involved
What you'll need to succeed
- A minimum of 12 months’ experience in a customer-focused role
- Experience within banking, transactional banking, insurance,
contact centres or another customer-focused environment
- Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
- Confidence in communicating with customers by phone and email
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage processing-focused work
- The ability to work effectively within a structured team environment
- Availability to complete the initial 8 weeks of training in the office
