Pre-construction coordinator for custom residential builder

Your new role:
Based full-time in Melbourne's outer south-east, you will take ownership of projects throughout the pre-construction process and become a key technical resource for both clients and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:
• Attending client meetings and providing guidance and support throughout the pre-construction journey.
• Coordinating surveys, soil tests, engineering and approvals.
• Managing tender variations, selections and documentation.
• Preparing and coordinating contracts, insurance and permit applications.
• Reviewing plans and specifications to identify design, cost and buildability risks.
• Supporting sales and tender discussions with technical expertise.
• Driving process improvements and contributing ideas to enhance the customer experience.

What you'll need to succeed:




• Solid experience within custom residential construction.
• Background in pre-construction, contracts administration, estimating or construction management.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, engineering and specifications.
• Confident communication and client-facing skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Strong technology skills, with experience of using construction software highly regarded.
