Part-time Project Manager opportunity based in Melbourne CBD.

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Project Manager to join a purpose-driven organisation on a part-time basis, supporting the delivery of a key project and associated stakeholder activities.

Working three days per week, you will take ownership of project planning, coordination and delivery, ensuring key milestones, stakeholder requirements and project outcomes are effectively managed.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate the delivery of key project activities and work streams
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, actions and key deliverables
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement, meetings and project communications
- Monitor project progress, risks, issues and dependencies
- Prepare clear project documentation, updates, reports and briefing materials
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Support implementation activities and ensure deliverables remain on track
- Provide structure and coordination across competing priorities

About you
To be successful, you will bring:

- Demonstrated experience in project management or project delivery (ideally have worked in a PMO environment)




- Strong planning, coordination and organisational skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management capability
- Experience managing competing priorities and project deadlines
- Strong written communication and reporting skills
- A proactive, practical and solutions-focused approach
- The ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with stakeholders

Experience working within a government, health, policy, member-based or not-for-profit environment would be highly regarded.

- Part-time opportunity – 3 days per week / 0.6 FTE
- $70–$80 per hour + Super
- Christmas/New Year shutdown period – no work required from 18 December 2026 to 10 January 2027
