Perigon Group is partnering with a growing national organisation to recruit an Accounts Officer.

The Role

You will work across accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations, while supporting month-end and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

- Processing supplier invoices, resolving discrepancies and preparing payment runs.
- Allocating incoming payments and processing refunds.
- Completing bank, credit card and supplier statement reconciliations.
- Investigating discrepancies and following through to resolution.
- Supporting month-end through cash and other transactional balance sheet reconciliations.
- Liaising with site teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders.




- Assisting with improvements to finance processes and systems.

Requirements:

- At least two years’ experience in an Accounts Officer or similar transactional finance role.
- Sound understanding of AP and AR, with solid bank reconciliation skills.
- Proactive approach, with the ability to investigate discrepancies and take ownership of resolving issues.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships across the business.
- Keen to learn, open to feedback and interested in developing your skills.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Accounting or finance qualification preferred, although relevant experience will also be considered.
- Microsoft Dynamics Business Central experience beneficial, with training available.
