- Location: Kalinga, Brisbane North QLD
- Job type: Permanent part-time
- Hours: Monday to Wednesday, 7.30am–5.30pm (30 hrs/week)
- Pay: Up to $45/hr + super + paid leave (based on experience)
- Children: Baby boy (11 months at start), boy (3 years) and girl (5 years), plus a French bulldog and two cats
- Start: Late January 2027
About the role
We're seeking a qualified, nurturing nanny to provide one-on-one care for a baby in a beautiful Kalinga home. This permanent nanny role suits a childcare professional or experienced carer who loves the baby and toddler stage. Your main focus is the little one, with school drop-off and pick-up for his big sister.
About our clients
A warm, loving family with three very loving children. Their home has a lovely garden and pool, plus a friendly French bulldog and two cats. They're looking for a trusted, long-term nanny to become part of the family.
Requirements
Essential:
- Proven professional childcare experience
- Recent experience caring for babies and toddlers
- Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- National Police Check
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Own reliable car and current driver's licence
- Traffic History Report
- Glowing, verifiable and recent references
Desirable:
- Early childhood qualification (Cert III or Diploma)
- Experience managing children's food allergies
- Confident with pool and water safety
Responsibilities
- Sole-charge care of a baby
- Feeding, sleep and daily routines
- School drop-off and pick-up for a 5-year-old
- Homework supervision
- Play-based learning, pram walks, park and café outings
- Taking the children to social activities
- Basic meal preparation for the children
- Children's laundry and light child-related household duties
