Casual Front of House Duty Managers - Moon Dog Wild West Geelong

Saddle up Gunslingers, Moon Dog Wild West is coming to Geelong!!

We're beyond excited to be bringing our really bloody fun & unique brand of hospitality to beautiful Geelong, aiming to swing open the saloon doors in late November!! We've taken over the old Geelong Hotel pub and are adding a mechanical bull and live music stage to really ramp up the fun!! We will be offering the best in food, beverages and entertainment, with our signature cheeky twist.

We are looking for several casual Duty Managers to help lead the team!

Our Duty Managers are highly trusted members of the team, who run all aspects of Front of House service and know when to level up issues to the Venue Manager or Assistant Venue Managers.

Our ideal Duty Manager;

- Has 2+ years experience as a Duty Manager in a big, busy venue
- Takes great pride in their superb customer service and delicious beverages
- Can competently run on shift labour management, on shift ops, and troubleshoot problems when they occur
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- Has full availability weekends, nights and public holidays
- Flexibility Monday - Sunday
- Excited to bring fun, successful in-venue events to life
- No problem getting their steps in across a large, two storied venue.
- Can delegate tasks and maintain the respect of the team
- Has experience dealing with a security team




- Has a solid focus on the safety and wellbeing of patrons and staff
- Competent in working the floor, bar, hosting and expediting (or most of these).

Casual duty managers will be paid at Level 5 HIGA award, and receive as many hours as you want to begin with as we expect to be pumping!!! We will be open for lunch, dinners and late nights.

The ideal starting date will be around 9th November (TBC) but we can be flexible for the right candidates, please detail any commencement date issues in your cover letter.
