The Company: is a 37 year old credit insurer with a wide range of Credit insurance products writing approximately $350 million AUD equivalent in sales premium last year.
They are head officed in London and operate in a number of countries across Europe, Australasia and Africa.
Opportunity: Is a strategic new role with responsibility for the greenfield origination activities of the Performance bond or surety guarantee business in Australia and NZ. This role will feed new business to relationship managers and foster recent referral partnerships.
Role: Reports to the Managing Director and is the sole representative for origination activities in the Performance bond business in AU and NZ.
You will: Identify, develop and secure new Contract Performance Guarantee opportunities with a focus on construction, infrastructure, engineering, mining services and related sectors in Australia and New Zealand.
As part of this, you will alsoDevelop and manage relationships with possible referral partners, such as:
- Insurance and Finance Brokers
- Corporate Advisers
- Accounting Firms
- Law Firms
- Bank and non-bank Financiers
- Association groups in relevant industries
This role would be an interesting new challenge for someone networked in developing structuredfinancial solutions for complex group entities operating in AU and NZ. The solution is about assisting to reduce the working capital tied up in contract/project performance obligations through the use of investment grade surety bonds.
Requirements: We will be looking for discussions with people who:
- Have a track record of originating into large/complex corporate entities with structured financial solutions
- Have sufficient gravitas to access relationships with clients and third parties in relevant industries
- Business acumen to identify and structure sustainable win/win solutions
