This is a hands-on Kitchen Hand / Dishie role suited to someone who works efficiently, takes initiative, maintains high cleanliness standards and thrives in a quick-paced hospitality environment. You will join a small but busy kitchen team in an ongoing, year-round position.

Key responsibilities

Wash, sanitise and put away dishes, cutlery, pots, pans and kitchen equipment

Keep the dishwashing area clean, organised and running efficiently throughout service

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen benches, equipment, floors and work areas

Assist with food preparation, stock rotation and storage when required

Manage rubbish, recycling and general kitchen cleaning duties

Complete end-of-shift cleaning and closing procedures

Assist chefs during food service on occasion, including preparation and plating as directed

Follow all food safety,



hygiene and workplace safety procedures

About you

Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen is essential

Current Food Handler Certificate or higher qualification required

Reliable availability for Thursday–Sunday shifts

Able to work efficiently under pressure, particularly during busy Friday and Saturday services

Physically capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks

Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene and organisation

Proactive, punctual and able to work independently without constant supervision

Team-oriented, flexible and willing to assist wherever needed
