The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Project Manager to join the business and take a leading role in the delivery of a significant 37-level, Tier 1 high-rise development in central Brisbane, commencing mid-2027.

Working closely with the Directors, you will take ownership of project delivery while gaining broader exposure to the full development lifecycle, from early feasibility, design and procurement through construction, completion and handover.

This is a genuine Project Management position offering significant responsibility, autonomy and the opportunity to influence project outcomes from both a construction and development perspective.

Rather than focusing predominantly on construction delivery, you'll develop a broader understanding of the commercial, strategic and development decisions that shape major projects, while continuing to utilise the technical expertise you've built throughout your career.

About You

We're looking for an accomplished Project Manager with a strong technical and commercial foundation developed within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 principal contractor or established developer-builder.

Ideally, you will demonstrate:

- Proven experience managing major multi-storey residential or commercial construction projects.
- A solid understanding of construction methodology, programming, procurement and project delivery.
- Excellent commercial acumen, including contract administration, cost management and risk mitigation.
- Experience managing consultants, contractors and key project stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, communication and relationship management skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to take ownership of project outcomes.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
- The ambition and intellectual curiosity to broaden your career beyond traditional principal contracting.
- Previous development advisory experience is not required. What matters is your construction expertise, commercial capability and motivation to embrace a different career path.
