South Pacific Seeds is seeking a Processing & Dispatch Manager - Commercial Seed to join our dynamic team in Griffith, NSW. This is a full-time, permanent position that plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient processing, quality control, and timely dispatch of our commercial seed products. You will oversee the coordination of all processing operations and dispatch activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer satisfaction. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation as a trusted supplier of quality seeds and managing the smooth flow of products from our facility to customers across the region.

Key responsibilities

Oversee daily processing operations, including cleaning, treating, packaging, and quality assurance of commercial seed products

Manage and supervise the processing and dispatch team, providing clear direction, training, and performance feedback

Coordinate dispatch activities to ensure accurate, timely delivery of orders to customers in compliance with delivery schedules

Implement and maintain processing procedures and safety protocols aligned with industry standards and company policies

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production planning to ensure adequate stock availability

Conduct quality inspections and manage documentation to maintain product integrity and traceability

Liaise with sales, logistics, and customer service teams to address customer requirements and resolve any delivery or quality issues

Maintain accurate records of processing activities, dispatch logs, and performance metrics

Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiency within processing and dispatch operations

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the processing facility

What we're looking for

Proven experience in processing management, production operations, or dispatch coordination within a manufacturing or agricultural environment, preferably in the seed or grain industry





Strong supervisory and team management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff

Solid understanding of quality control processes, food safety standards, and compliance requirements relevant to seed processing

Excellent organisational and planning abilities with experience coordinating multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments

This is a hands-on role for someone who is proactive, practical, and open to new challenges

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety

Experience with processing equipment and warehouse management systems is advantageous

Knowledge of logistics and inventory management principles

Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing operational demands

A relevant qualification in production management, supply chain management, or similar field is preferred but not essential if you have relevant experience
