Enjoy working outdoors and being part of a team? We’re looking for reliable, hardworking Parks & Gardens Labourers to join our client’s crew in Rookwood.

Previous landscaping, gardening or parks maintenance experience is desirable, but it’s not essential. If you’re willing to learn, enjoy hands-on work and have a current driver’s licence, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing

- Maintaining parks, gardens and open spaces
- Mowing, edging and whipper snipping
- Weeding and general garden maintenance
- Using ride-on mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers and other equipment
- Assisting with general labouring and minor works
- Using a mobile device to receive and record daily work
- Completing equipment checks and following secure work procedures

What we’re looking for

- Current C Class driver’s licence – essential for operating ride-on mowers
- Landscaping, gardening,



horticulture or parks maintenance experience – desirable but not essential
- Experience using gardening equipment or small plant – desirable
- Certificate III in Horticulture – highly regarded but not essential
- MR or HR licence – highly regarded
- Ability to undertake physical work outdoors
- Comfortable using a mobile device such as an iPad
- A reliable, safety-focused approach and willingness to work as part of a team

Pre-employment requirements

You’ll need to provide two employment references. Successful candidates may also be selected for drug and alcohol screening during their assignment.
