A lovely family relocating back to Sydney from overseas is seeking a reliable, responsible and proactive Housekeeper / Family Assistant to support their busy household and two children, aged 11 and 13. This is a wide-ranging role combining general housekeeping, family meal preparation and assistance with the children's afternoon activities and transport. The family is looking for someone dependable, with the main focus being on providing reliable household assistance and helping with the family's afternoon logistics.

General housekeeping and maintaining a clean, tidy and organised home

Laundry, folding and putting clothes away

Preparing simple, healthy family dinners and snacks

Kitchen tidying and general household organisation

Assisting with other day-to-day household tasks as required

Assisting with transport to and from the children's afternoon activities

Tuesday afternoon will involve driving from Bondi to the Northern Beaches for one child’s regular activity

Depending on the agreed schedule, this may involve waiting during the activity and driving her home,



or dropping her off and finishing for the day

Providing reliable afternoon support so Mum can manage the children's different schedules

Candidate requirements:

Reliable, responsible, punctual and trustworthy

Experienced in private housekeeping, family assistance or working with school-aged children

Current Police check and WWC

Organised, proactive and happy to assist wherever needed

Confident preparing simple, nutritious family meals

A confident and safe driver with a current driver's licence, if undertaking the driving responsibilities - own car

The family is flexible regarding the structure of the role and is happy to consider one candidate to manage both the housekeeping and driving responsibilities, or two separate candidates if someone prefers to focus solely on housekeeping or driving.

This is not a traditional nanny position, as the children are older and independent. A wonderful opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper, Family Assistant or Nanny seeking a flexible, part-time afternoon role in Bondi.
