Cairns City Pharmacy is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and results-driven Retail Manager to lead the retail team, oversee daily operations, and contribute to the pharmacy's growth and success.

Key responsibilities

- Lead, motivate, supervise, and train retail staff to maintain high performance standards
- Conduct job interviews, select and hire new employees, and manage staff onboarding
- Work towards and achieve set KPIs, including sales targets, customer service standards, and operational performance
- Oversee the smooth running of the pharmacy's front-of-shop operations
- Manage inventory, stock ordering, replenishment, and stock control
- Maintain attractive product displays, promotional campaigns, and store presentation
- Ensure exceptional customer service and professionally resolve customer concerns
- Identify opportunities to increase sales, improve efficiency, and contribute to the pharmacy's success
- Organise staff schedules and ensure appropriate coverage

About you





- Previous retail or management experience is preferred but not essential
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to work towards and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Customer-focused with a positive and proactive attitude
- Ability to motivate, train, and manage a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
