Position Overview
We are seeking an organised and detail‑oriented Compliance Officer to coordinate site‑level compliance activities at our Buronga depot and provide administrative support to our Compliance Lead.
Based at our Buronga branch, you will be the go‑to person on the ground for coordinating day‑to‑day site compliance, processing records, and keeping local compliance administration running smoothly. Alongside your Buronga branch coordination, you will provide hands‑on administrative backing to the Compliance Lead—maintaining group registers, collating data for audits, and keeping our compliance systems up to date.
Key Responsibilities
- Buronga Site Compliance Coordination: Coordinate day‑to‑day compliance administration at the Buronga depot.
- Administrative Support to the Compliance Lead: Provide administrative assistance to the Compliance Lead by preparing documentation, collating audit evidence, maintaining document control, and compiling compliance information for customer tenders.
- Register & Database Administration: Maintain and update regulatory registers and databases.
- Work Diaries & Records Processing: Process driver work diaries, collate operational data, and maintain accurate compliance files at the branch level.
- Workforce & Subcontractor Records: Track and administer workforce and subcontractor compliance documentation across our systems.
- Incident & Hazard Administration: Record and administer incident, non‑conformance, and hazard reports in our systems, and assist local management with incident administration as required.
Key Qualifications & Attributes
- Experience in compliance administration, operations support, or general business administration (experience within the road transport industry is an advantage).
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and digital compliance or operational databases (such as SafeTeams and Freight 2020).
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to manage competing administrative priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and coordinate effectively with a diverse range of people across the depot, wider business, and external partners.
- Experience assisting with quality audits, document control, or site onboarding is desirable.
- Alignment with PTG’s values of drive, flexibility, and resilience.
