A Maintenance Painter role within an Operations team performing a variety of technical tasks including surface preparation, painting, plastering, and finishing work for commercial clients across south-east Queensland. The role is highly independent.
Key responsibilities
Clear workspace and prepare surface area
Sand, patch, prime, seal, and paint a variety of surfaces per clients request ensuring a professional finish
Replace ceiling tiles and colour match
Prepare joints to ceiling and walls in preparation for painting
Prepare floors and applying 2-pack epoxy
Clean workspace and dispose of rubbish
Train and support a full-time painter apprentice
About you
Qualified painter with 6+ years commercial experience
High personal initiative and capacity to solve complex technical problems
High personal integrity, reliability, and accountability
Good communication and collaborative skills,
and ability to relate effectively with people
Positive knowledge, understanding, and application of WH&S; and Quality
Familiarity with Simpro or a similar field management system would be highly regarded
