Join our growing team at Bluewater Village Early Learning as a Kitchen Hand to support our Chef with daily kitchen operations. You'll be the magic behind happy tummies and growing minds, working in a child-centred kitchen setting where mealtimes are about more than just serving food. You'll also be confident stepping into the Chef role when needed, such as during leave periods.

Key responsibilities

Food preparation

Maintaining required records

Cleaning and closing the kitchen each afternoon

Stepping into the Chef role when needed, such as during leave periods

Preparing nutritious meals that promote healthy growth and learning

About you

A high standard of kitchen hygiene

Previous cooking or food preparation experience

Brings a positive, caring approach to every task, helping create a welcoming, child-centred kitchen environment





Willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

Willing to obtain a Food Safety Certificate and National Child Safety training

Early childhood qualifications would be an advantage but are not required
