The Role

We are seeking experienced Demolition and Asbestos Labourers. Depending on your skills and the project, your work may include demolition, strip-outs, plant operation, asbestos removal or remediation.

You may feel limited in your current role, be looking for greater exposure to more technical works, or simply want a change of culture, team and project environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Complete demolition, asbestos removal and remediation works safely
- Assist with strip-outs, structural demolition and site preparation
- Remove Class A or Class B asbestos when qualified
- Set up exclusion zones, enclosures and decontamination units
- Use hand tools, power tools, HEPA equipment, PPE and RPE
- Assist supervisors, operators and hygienists
- Follow SWMS, site controls and supervisor directions
- Operate plant when trained, authorised and competent
- Complete basic plant checks and report faults

About You

- Experienced in demolition, asbestos removal, remediation or plant operation
- At least 6 to 12 months of relevant experience preferred
- Construction White Card
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- Class A and/or Class B qualification for asbestos work
- Reliable, physically capable and able to follow instructions

Required and Highly Regarded Qualifications





- CPCCDE3014 and/or CPCCDE3015 asbestos tickets
- Working at Heights and EWP
- Experience with friable enclosures and negative-pressure systems
- Excavator, skid steer, roller or other plant VOCs
- HR/MR or Forklift Licence
- Commercial, industrial, government or infrastructure experience
- Don’t worry if you don’t have this, we will pay to get you the training and tickets after the probation period

Pay and Benefits

- $40-$60 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Training, Tickets and Progression

We invested approximately $150,000 in workforce training last year. We back people who have the drive and commitment to develop and will assist you deeply to improve yourself with us.

Where training benefits you and the business, we may fund approved tickets such as EWP, Working at Heights, Confined Space, HR licensing, forklift, plant competencies and asbestos qualifications.

After 12 months, suitable employees may enter a formal pathway toward Demolition Supervisor and/or Asbestos Supervisor qualifications, with approved course costs paid by Advanced Deconstruction.

You will also receive practical training in temporary works, plan reading, demolition sequencing and technical project delivery.
