What you'll do

- Oversee accurate and timely fortnightly payroll for approximately 3,000 employees nationally.
- Lead, mentor and develop an established payroll team.
- Ensure compliance with Modern Awards, EBAs and Australian payroll legislation.
- Review and approve payroll payments, resolve complex issues and oversee payroll audits.
- Manage external audit queries.
- Improve payroll systems and processes while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

What you'll bring





- A strong commitment to child safety and wellbeing, aligned with Busy Bees' values.
- Experience managing high-volume payroll, ideally within a large or multi-site organisation.
- Solid knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements and employment conditions.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop a payroll team with a hands-on, collaborative approach.
- Strong payroll systems knowledge with a passion for automation, integration and process improvement.
