We're looking for experienced HC and MC Drivers to join our Sydney team at Moorebank, completing local metro pick-ups and deliveries.

Safety is a priority at Simon. We provide training and support in fatigue management, including Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) and Advanced Fatigue Management (AFM), where relevant to your role and operational requirements.

What will you be doing?

Based at our Moorebank depot in Sydney, you'll complete daily multi-customer and bulk metro pick-ups and deliveries, servicing a diverse customer base.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Completing local metro pick-up and delivery runs.
- Safely operating HC or MC vehicles in accordance with licence and company requirements.
- Participating in load configuration, restraint and run planning.




- Transporting and handling general freight, machinery and specialised loads in accordance with NHVR and company requirements.
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting maintenance or safety concerns.
- Processing freight paperwork and electronic proof of delivery accurately.
- Communicating effectively with customers and our operations team.
- Providing professional customer service as a representative of Simon.
- Working independently and as part of a team to deliver protected, reliable service.

What we're looking for

- A current HC or MC driver's licence.
- A minimum of 3–5 years of relevant HC or MC driving experience.
- Experience with multi-customer, bulk and multi-drop metro deliveries.
- Sound knowledge of Sydney metropolitan areas and surrounds.
- Experience in safe loading, freight handling and load restraint.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude.
- Confidence using smartphones, transport applications, electronic POD systems and in-vehicle monitoring systems (IVMS).
- A reliable, flexible attitude and a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- A current Forklift (LF) licence and White Card will be highly regarded. Forklift licence training may be available for suitable applicants.
- Successful applicants must provide a certified copy of their driving record and complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
