We’re seeking a full-time Concierge to join our team at Point Hotel in Kangaroo Point. Two casual positions are also available.

As a Concierge, you will be the friendly face welcoming guests and helping them feel at home from the moment they arrive. This hands‑on role is all about creating a warm, memorable five-star experience through personalised service, thoughtful assistance and great local knowledge.

Working closely with our Front Office team, you will assist guests with everything from luggage and valet parking to transport and local recommendations, ensuring their stay runs smoothly from arrival to departure.

What you'll do

- Create a warm welcome: Greet and farewell guests, anticipate their needs and provide genuine, personalised hospitality.
- Lend a helping hand: Securely handle, store and deliver luggage, escort guests to rooms and assist with accessibility or additional support needs.
- Keep arrivals moving: Provide valet parking, coordinate driveway activity and maintain accurate vehicle and key records.
- Share your local knowledge: Arrange taxis and transport, operate the guest shuttle as required, and recommend Brisbane attractions, restaurants and experiences.
- Connect guests with our hotel: Assist with bookings for KIN Restaurant and Aira Rooftop Bar and share information about hotel facilities and services.
- Support the team: Assist with group arrivals, express check‑outs, guest requests and amenity deliveries, keeping Reception informed and providing clear shift handovers.

Who you are

- Customer service enthusiast: You enjoy helping people and creating memorable guest experiences. Previous concierge, porter, valet or hotel guest services experience is highly regarded.
- Confident driver: You hold a current open manual driver’s licence and handle guest vehicles with care.
- Ready for a hands‑on role: You can safely lift and handle luggage weighing up to 20 kg.
- Local guide: You have strong knowledge of Brisbane’s attractions, restaurants, transport and local amenities.
- Outstanding communicator: You connect easily with guests and colleagues, follow instructions and maintain a high standard of personal presentation and grooming.
- Calm and organised: You prioritise competing requests, pay attention to detail and remain professional during busy or challenging situations.
- Reliable team player: You work well independently and with others, with flexibility for rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
