Programmed Maintenance Services – Hastings VIC

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Installation Supervisor to support capital projects at a major industrial manufacturing facility in Hastings.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team and reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee electrical installation works across a range of capital projects in a heavy manufacturing environment. Projects will include new process line equipment, plant upgrades, and the installation of electrical, automation and control systems.

This is an excellent prospect for an experienced electrical tradesperson or engineer with strong industrial installation and contractor supervision experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise electrical installation works across capital projects, including electrical distribution equipment, automation systems, drives, communications networks and LV/HV cabling.
- Coordinate onsite contractors and ensure installation works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project schedules.
- Develop and review Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), conduct risk assessments and participate in toolbox meetings.
- Ensure compliance with site safety standards, statutory requirements and relevant codes of practice.
- Contribute to electrical and control system designs, with a focus on constructability.
- Prepare scopes of work, technical specifications, tender documentation and installation plans.




- Manage site instructions, variations and contractor activities.
- Review and sign off quality assurance documentation for installation works.
- Update as-built drawings and assist with commissioning equipment and process systems.

Skills and Experience

- Electrical engineering qualification or electrical trade background.
- Demonstrated experience supervising electrical installations in an industrial or heavy manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installation, automation, control systems and industrial cabling.
- Experience managing contractors and coordinating onsite installation activities.
- Familiarity with safety documentation, including JSA, SWMS and risk assessments.
- Experience with quality assurance, installation documentation and project scopes of work.
- Solid communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
