Final Trim Operators – Dozer, Excavator & Grader

Cooper McCullough Group (CMG) is a leading civil construction business operating across Central Queensland, delivering bulk earthworks, infrastructure and mining-related projects. Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Final Trim Dozer, Excavator and Grader Operators to join our team.

You will deliver accurate final trim work across our projects, taking pride in quality workmanship while maintaining high safety and operational standards.

What you’ll be doing

- Operating dozers, excavators or graders to complete final trim works to project specifications
- Reading and interpreting plans, levels and construction drawings
- Using GPS machine control systems to achieve required tolerances




- Completing earthworks, batters, drainage and pavement preparation as required
- Conducting daily pre-start inspections and reporting defects or maintenance issues
- Working closely with supervisors, surveyors and other operators to achieve project targets
- Following site safety procedures and company policies

What we’re looking for

- Proven final trim experience operating a dozer, excavator or grader
- Relevant plant qualifications and demonstrated competency
- Experience using GPS machine control systems
- Ability to work accurately to design levels and specified tolerances
- Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A solid commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management
