As a premier Aged Care, Home Care and Retirement Living service provider, Garden Village has a unique opportunity for a Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) to be responsible for overseeing day to day patient care, liaising with family members and leading a team of RNs, ENs and Care Workers in your own section.
If you are passionate about managing and developing staff, the delivery of genuine and compassionate person-centered clinical care, have outstanding relationship building skills and enjoy a range of responsibilities this prospect is ready for you.

Desired Skills and Experience
Candidates will require:
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- At least 5 years aged care experience
- Previous demonstrated success both as a Registered Nurse and within a senior clinical role.
- Experience in managing a unit/ward/facility with regards to staff, relationship, and incident and complaints management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - with residents, families and staff
- A strong understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
