Senior Sales Consultant | Bathroom Renovations

Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast QLD 4220 | Full-time

About us

Kuda Bathrooms is a leading bathroom renovation specialist, bringing together thoughtful design, practical building expertise and quality craftsmanship. Our reputation has been built on delivering beautiful, functional bathrooms and giving homeowners confidence throughout the renovation process.

We are a tight-knit team that values innovation, professionalism and genuine client relationships. We take pride in finding the right solution for each home—and in making sure the work behind the finished bathroom is just as good as it looks.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Consultant | Bathroom Renovations to join our Burleigh Heads team. You will play an significant role in driving sales growth, developing business-to-business relationships and helping clients turn their renovation ideas into well-considered projects.

This is a construction-led sales role. Experience in bathroom design and construction is essential, along with the ability to scope and price complete renovation projects.

You will combine consultative selling skills with practical construction knowledge to assess existing bathrooms, understand what the client wants to achieve and develop solutions that balance design, functionality, budget and building requirements.

Your proposals will need to be buildable, compliant, accurately priced and technically sound.

You must care just as much about the quality of the work you send to the delivery team as you do about hitting your sales targets.

What you’ll be doing

- Consulting with homeowners: Conduct in-home consultations to understand each client’s needs, preferences and budget. Explain their options clearly, present recommendations and guide them confidently through to a signed contract.

- Assessing the existing bathroom: Measure accurately and identify construction types, existing conditions, access limitations, services and installation constraints. Recognise issues that could affect feasibility, compliance, cost or delivery.

- Developing practical design solutions: Work through layouts and renovation options that suit the space and the client’s needs. Bring ideas and initiative, using our drafting and technical support to develop solutions that are both appealing and achievable.

- Preparing scopes, estimates and proposals: Produce clear plans, specifications and detailed scopes of work.

Apply sound construction pricing knowledge to labour, materials and project requirements, documenting inclusions, exclusions and allowances while protecting agreed margins.

- Resolving technical questions: Work with the Project Manager and relevant specialists to clarify construction requirements, compliance considerations and any necessary investigations or approvals before finalising the scope.

- Managing sales performance: Follow up consistently, convert opportunities and maintain accurate CRM records. Produce reliable sales reporting and forecasts, supported by transparent notes, current information and realistic next steps.

- Providing complete project handovers: Give the delivery team accurate plans, measurements, specifications, scope details and client commitments. Work collaboratively to clarify questions and support a smooth transition into selections, planning and construction.

- Building new opportunities: Develop relationships with referral partners and other businesses, identify opportunities for repeat work and contribute ideas to improve our sales processes and client experience.

What we’re looking for

- At least five years’ consultative sales experience, supported by a proven record of achieving targets and demonstrated experience in bathroom design and construction.

- Strong practical construction knowledge. You understand how bathroom renovations are built, how different building conditions affect the work, and where further investigation or technical advice is needed.

- A sound understanding of compliance. You are familiar with the building requirements relevant to bathroom renovations, including waterproofing, drainage, services and approvals, and can recognise when a proposal requires specialist review.

- Strong estimating and technical documentation skills. You can interpret plans and specifications, work accurately with dimensions and quantities, assess construction costs and develop commercially sound scopes and quotations.

- Excellent sales administration, reporting and writing skills. Your proposals,

scopes and client correspondence are clear and professional. You keep disciplined records, manage your pipeline actively and produce credible forecasts.

- Strong client and commercial judgement. You can find practical solutions, explain technical matters simply, manage expectations and understand the importance of margins, scope control and accurate contract documentation.

- A collaborative approach. You are humble, professional and friendly, welcome feedback and want to immerse yourself in a positive team environment. You take responsibility for your results and for the quality of information others rely on.

A technical background in building and construction, relevant trade, building or estimating qualifications, and existing industry contacts or business-to-business relationships will be highly regarded.

Experience with Pipedrive, Buildertrend or similar systems is valuable. A current driver’s licence and a willingness to learn and consistently use our systems are essential.

What we offer

At Kuda Bathrooms, we believe in investing in our people and giving them the support to do their best work. We offer a competitive base salary plus superannuation, a fully maintained company vehicle, phone and laptop, with training in our products, pricing and processes.

You will work with company-generated enquiries supported by our established digital marketing system. Our simplified pricing model does much of the groundwork, allowing you to focus on the client, develop the right solution and identify the technical requirements that make each project different.

You will also have access to our drafting team for plans and visuals, alongside a Project Manager who holds a master’s degree in architecture. That combination provides valuable design and technical support, particularly for higher-end projects where clients need help seeing what is possible and confidence that it can be delivered.

The opportunity is not simply to sell more bathrooms. It is to use the expertise around you to develop better solutions and win higher-value projects at sound margins.

You will receive ongoing support from the business owner and work within a team that values innovation, accountability and mutual respect. We recognise that people have commitments outside work and aim to support a practical balance alongside the needs of the role. Extra benefits include staff discounts and opportunities to develop your skills and contribute as the business grows.
