Our client provides bookkeeping, financial accounting and compliance services to a diverse portfolio of listed and unlisted businesses across the resources sector. Based in Perth's CBD, the team combines technical expertise with a personable, collaborative approach to client service.
Join a busy, collaborative office where no two days are the same. You'll assist with your own portfolio of clients across the mining and resources sector, gain exposure to a variety of businesses and work alongside a team that values personality, collaboration and getting things done. Open to Part Time or Full time candidates with 1 days working from home.
About the Role:
- Assisting with the day-to-day bookkeeping for your own portfolio of clients.
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Completing bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Processing payroll and ensuring accurate, timely payments.
- Preparing and lodging BAS/IAS and managing ATO requirements.
- Assisting with month-end, year-end and financial reporting.
- Building solid client relationships and collaborating with the wider team.
About you:
- At least 2 years' experience in bookkeeping or a similar accounting role.
- Experience with Xero, MYOB or similar accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
- A proactive, organised approach and the confidence to manage your workload.
- A friendly, personable nature and a genuine enjoyment of working with people.
- Experience working across multiple clients or entities is highly regarded.
- Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or relevant qualifications desirable.
- Australian working rights are essential.
