Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end tender process, from initial review through to submission
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs and subcontractor comparisons
- Review tender documentation, identify scope gaps, commercial risks and opportunities
- Manage subcontractor and supplier engagement, pricing negotiations and procurement strategies
- Oversee RFIs, tender clarifications and submission documentation
- Identify value engineering opportunities to deliver competitive and commercially viable tenders
- Collaborate with senior management, design and delivery teams to develop winning tender strategies
Skills & Experience
- 8+ years' estimating experience, ideally within a commercial head contractor
- Proven experience independently managing tenders across newbuild, industrial, education, healthcare and/or refurbishment projects
- Strong understanding of D&C;, ECI and Construct Only procurement models
- Excellent commercial acumen, cost planning, negotiation and risk management skills
- Ability to lead complex tenders and contribute to strategic bid decisions
- Proficiency in Cubit, EstimateOne and/or Procore advantageous
